Braised Beef with Barolo Baràc | STEFANIA’S COOKING CORNER
Ingredients for 4 people
700gr gr of sliced veal
1 stalk of celery
Olive oil as needed
Flour as needed
Salt as needed
Pepper as needed
Preparation phase 1
Place the meat in a bowl with 1 carrot, 1 onion and 1 stalk of celery cut into pieces, and 3 glasses of Barolo Barac red wine and leave to rest for approx. 10 hours
Preparation phase 2
We dry the meat, flour and brown it in a saucepan with 3 tablespoons of oil; then add the vegetables and the wine. We cook covered for at least 2 hours.
We cut the braised meat into slices after having allowed it to cool and serve with the mixed vegetables after having warmed everything.
